Bitcoin developers Gleb Naumenko and Antoine Rear launched The Label R&D project. It aims to develop bitcoin and related infrastructure.
I’m glad to announce The Label, a new Bitcoin R&D I start with Antoine Riard: https://t.co/Zyjqn7WHfv
We will keep hacking forward on Bitcoin scalability, privacy, and security, and keeping it fun!
While we’re lucky to be sponsored, we will be also open to consulting missions. pic.twitter.com/AojXDRNR72
– Gleb Naumenko (@ffstls) February 22, 2021
The Label is a community of independent Bitcoin developers dedicated to security, privacy, and scalability. Basically, The Label will provide consulting services on these issues.
The project will help industry participants develop and integrate new protocols and solutions like the Lightning Network, and help developers diversify their revenues.
Participants will be selected by the creators of The Label.
In a comment for ForkLog, Naumenko stated that the developers are “happy to share their experience so that someone else would create similar organizations.”
More about the history of the project and its goals read Riard’s post.
We will remind, last year Naumenko received a grant for $ 100,000 from the BitMEX operator – HDR Global Trading.
