Protocol Labs, behind the development of the Filecoin decentralized platform, has released a free service called NFT.Storage. It is designed to store non-fungible tokens.
https://t.co/lj7ntW3gQ5 is a brand new service built specifically for storing off-chain #NFT data. Data is stored decentralized on @IPFS and #Filecoin – plus it’s FREE! Learn more: https://t.co/6XIMwRuyaN

The service was developed in conjunction with blockchain startup Pinata. It is based on Filecoin and IPFS technologies.
NFT.Storage provides the ability to protect tokens and their associated metadata. The platform guarantees the storage of information for a long time.
When a user uploads data to a service, the IPFS protocol generates an address associated with a unique cryptographic hash identifier (CID). This approach avoids a number of problems, for example, the appearance of broken links.
For decentralized storage of metadata, the service uses the Filecoin protocol. The data can be accessed through any public IPFS gateway.
Recall that in April, the OKEx bitcoin exchange announced that it was investing $ 10 million in the development of the Filecoin ecosystem. Through the Block Dream Fund, it will provide funding for the Slingshot, Launchpad Accelerator and Frontier Accelerator projects.
