Grayscale is now “Official Digital Asset Management Partner of the New York Giants.” This is the first such agreement in the NFL.
As part of the cooperation, the company will sponsor home games and a training camp for the football team. Grayscale will also fund a golf picnic for the Giants Foundation.
For the staff of the team, Grayscale organizes educational seminars on cryptocurrencies.
Grayscale Investments Funds run assets worth $ 49.8 billion. Of this amount, more than $ 36 billion falls on the bitcoin trust. The value of the Ethereum-based fund exceeds $ 10.5 billion.
Recall that on March 23, the FTX crypto derivatives exchange reached an agreement with the authorities of Miami-Dade County to name the home arena of the local basketball club by its name. The district will receive more than $ 90 million in the partnership over 19 years.
In April, Kansas City’s Sean Culkin became the first NFL player to receive his entire salary in Bitcoin in 2021.
